Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of hellotilda.com ("the Platform") and applies to all users, applications, and content hosted on or accessed through the Platform.
hellotilda.com is committed to providing a safe, family-friendly environment for developers and their users. All activity on the Platform must comply with this policy.
Prohibited Content
You may not use the Platform to create, host, distribute, or facilitate:
Illegal Activity
- Money laundering, fraud, or financial crimes
- Sanctions evasion or transactions with sanctioned entities
- Unlicensed money transmission or unauthorized financial services
- Any activity that violates applicable local, state, federal, or international law
Harmful Content
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or exploitation of minors
- Malware, ransomware, exploit kits, botnets, or hacking tools designed to cause harm
- Phishing, social engineering, or credential harvesting
- Harassment, doxxing, stalking, or threats of violence
- Content that promotes self-harm or suicide
- Disinformation campaigns or coordinated inauthentic behavior
Restricted Categories
- Gambling: Applications that facilitate real-money gambling, betting, lotteries, or games of chance
- Adult content: Pornography, sexually explicit material, or adult services
- Weapons: Sale, distribution, or facilitation of firearms, ammunition, explosives, or other weapons
- Controlled substances: Sale or promotion of illegal drugs or controlled substances
- Deceptive practices: Impersonation, fake reviews, misleading claims, or bait-and-switch schemes
Prohibited Behavior
Platform Abuse
- Circumventing rate limits, authentication, or access controls
- Reverse engineering, scraping, or unauthorized access to Platform infrastructure
- Using the Platform to attack or probe other systems (port scanning, DDoS, etc.)
- Creating multiple accounts to circumvent bans or restrictions
- Automated registration of accounts or API keys
Resource Abuse
- Cryptocurrency mining using Platform compute resources
- Excessive API usage designed to degrade service for other users
- Storing data unrelated to your application's legitimate function
Intellectual Property
- Infringing on copyrights, trademarks, or patents of others
- Distributing pirated software, media, or content
- Removing or altering copyright notices or attribution
Enforcement
Detection
We use a combination of:
- Automated monitoring (rate limit violations, keyword detection, abuse patterns)
- Stripe chargeback and dispute signals
- User reports (report abuse to abuse@hellotilda.com)
- Periodic manual review of flagged accounts
Actions
When a violation is detected, we may take one or more of the following actions:

Appeals
If you believe an enforcement action was taken in error, you may appeal by emailing appeals@hellotilda.com within 14 days. Include your account identifier and a description of why you believe the action was incorrect. We will review and respond within 7 business days.
Reporting Violations
To report a violation of this policy:
- Email: abuse@hellotilda.com
- Include: description of the violation, relevant URLs or API keys, and any supporting evidence
- We will acknowledge reports within 24 hours and investigate within 72 hours
Your Responsibilities
As a Platform user, you are responsible for:
- Ensuring your applications comply with this AUP
- Moderating user-generated content within your own applications
- Responding promptly to abuse reports related to your applications
- Maintaining accurate contact information for abuse notifications
Changes
We may update this AUP as needed to address new forms of abuse or evolving legal requirements. Material changes will be announced with 30 days' notice. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
